At the Sunrise Florida
concert back in Nov. 2006
I made a poster that was
a reminder to Pete that
he had started writing
the Boy Who Heard Music
back on Sept 24th 2000
by the atlantic ocean in
West Palm Beach Florida.
He later signed the poster
when we met him at Joe's
pub.He wrote "you noticed
and I noticed" which I
thought was so cool!:)
He signed it too of course :)

Hi Mike,
your post is so cool, and awesome.

What precious memories. What fantastic photos. Pete, in several concerts, I have been at, have said, I see familiar faces and friends. And I imagine you are one of them.

Did I say this before? You are one of THE most dedicated fans of a band, or artist I have ever encountered. I love it. I was thinking about this, in around 2002ish, my years are off, sorry. I had front row at MSG, and Matt Kent was there(I mention that as a memory), and I always like to be there early, there was a group of people infront of the stage, where I approached, were you there?

Hiya Mike!
I can't believe how many times I stopped here and never commented. (dolt I am.) :o)

The photos you have up are very, very pleasing to look at. The story clips you include are down to earth and a joy to read. Thanks so much!

Off to bed for me now. Take care and it's always a real pleasure to read your posts out and about on the blogs. ;o) I'll have to try shrimp pizza and give you a review!

Mike, I loved your story about Sam, it was really sweet, your sister sounds like a good person, and I can't believe those boys rolled a dog in a barrel down a hill? Wonder were they are now!!!
When you mentioned the picture of you and Sam in the backyard, you had me crying. Thanks for sharing that, did you take pics of the mock wedding?

take care, xx

Oh coolness, Grace! Mike has been tagged. I can't wait to read the 8's! :o)

Reporting the outcome of shrimp pizza experiment #1.

I added Louisiana hot sauce (just a hint) to the tomato sauce. Put pineapple rings on top of the shrimp just before it was done cooking.

EXCELLENT! Thanks for giving me a clue, Mike. It was such a nice combination of flavors. I loved it and will make it again. This time, I will baste the crust bottom with a light sauce, use fresh tomatoes, and go from there.

YUM!

I've been tagged by Grace! I am
honored :)

Well,here goes nothing hahaha!

1)I love movies in the daytime
in an empty theater.

2)I am obssessed with Lemons
and salt to such an extent
that I have had to have my
teeth repaired do to the
deterioration of my enamel
in my gums from the acid.

3)I have a passion for pizza
with extra sauce and extra
shrimp with garlic powder,
raw onions,pepperoncini's
and lotsa of lemon juice
squeezed on top.

4)Back in the 1970's on Long
Island I helped my older sister
give pony rides in our suburban
neighborhood.The neighbors were
none to pleased with the poop
that was left "behind" lol.

5)I and my brother won first
prize at our workplace back in
1983 when we dressed as Paul
Stanley and Gene Simmons from
KISS.

6)In a span of 25 years I have
managed to total my vehicles
3 times without injuring anyone
else or myself.

7)I was mugged and beaten and robbed by 7 men at a gas station
in 1994,the only thing they
didnt get was my 'WHO' pendant, lol.

8)I once dove off an 85 foot bridge
on Hollywood Beach and had to be
pulled out of the water by 5 or
6 of my drunk buddies during
spring break.I was drunk as
well lol.

Bonus:When Hurricane Andrew
wiped out three or four cities
in Metro-Miami,my brother and
I spent 5 days a week 12 hours
a day for three weeks bringing
food,water,care products,first
aid kits to paralyzed neighborhoods. It was very
rewarding to see it helping
those in need before you eyes.

Second Bonus:I voted by my peers employee of the quarter at my hospital that I work at as a nursing assistant :):)

I tag Meg next!

Mike;

So we are playing tag now? I thought I told you I preferred to play "hide the sausage", ha ha ha!

I caved in and posted my 8, I really liked reading yours even though you told me most of those stories before, I learned some new ones about you, that is something I still like to do! Nice!

Oh duh on me! I was waiting for the blog post to show up with your 8s, but here they were the whole time.

Your 8s are great!

Hope you don't have any more trouble with your teeth. I've had enamel problems and it's NO FUN.

It always seems like the kindest, nicest people end up having stories of having had horrible things happen to them. I was sorry to hear you were robbed and harmed, but happy that your WHO pendant is intact. sheesh.

Many blessings to you for helping others. thank God you were rescued after that dive! Otherwise, you wouldn't have been here to do such good works after Andrew and to accept your Nursing award!

All the best!
